Toned Up
A new release from Lids - the Phillies version of the MLB Toned-Up comes in Royal Blue and Black while other teams sport color schemes of Red, Lime, White, Gray and Green. While I like the idea of two shades of Royal on one cap - I think the club's city on one side and the name on the other (not leveled with equal heights) is a bit much. Good idea - poorly executed.

Mail Call (3)
Finally, a replacement LA Colorway which I found on the cheap. I had bought this fitted a while back but the quality of it was sub par and when I went to exchange it they were out of my size.

First of three I received in the mail today. This is a Philadelphia Flyers colorway (not SF Giants - still looking for that one - the orange is different + there is no orange button).

Update: After speaking with a Hat Club customer service representative I was told that while they have not put in a new order to restock this cap - that they will contact their buyers to request just that to be done. She mentioned that more sizes of the fitted might be restocked around September or October.

Most Sought After
With the month winding down -- here are my top 3 most sought after caps of June.
To avoid repetition I have excluded any past fitteds that I haven't been able to find despite the fact that I am still very much looking for them. One of these caps I have actually found and it will be arrive in the next couple of weeks - keep your eyes peeled.
#3 A Retro On-The-Field Pirates colorway that was available a year or so ago from AAO.

Mail Call
This just came in the mail - older Alternative on the Field (gray underbrim) - and now its part of my collection.

If the Lids website is any indication (and it usually is a very good one) it seems as if the ship will be producing these fitteds with the entire league in mind come sooner than later. Aside from what is being shown here, the limited teams that are currently available also come in shades of yellow, gray, brown, red, light blue, graphite, and green.
Ever since I saw a Cardinal Red (normally reserved for the Cooperstown logo) fitted with the Phillies present-day logo at Player's I've been itching to go back and grab it - this way will be much more convenient and cheaper to boot!

DOSE OF UGLY (overkill edition)

Today's DOU is only a mere representative of all of the huge logo Phillies fitteds out there that I can't stand. Maybe we should get together and use all that excess thread from these logos to sew some clothes for those small children in those needy countries who spend their days playing in puddles...?
